Jon Acevedo

Jonathon Acevedo is an accomplished real estate development professional with a strong track record of delivering complex urban projects across public, nonprofit, and private sectors.

In his most recent role as Associate Project Manager at a development firm in Brooklyn, Jonathon was involved in the development of high-end luxury condominium projects, where he oversaw construction progress, and coordinated closely with subcontractors and vendors. He managed project budgets, tracked expenditures, and led the competitive bidding process for core trades.

Previously, as Project Manager with Project Renewal in New York City, Jonathon led a range of impactful developments aimed at addressing housing insecurity. He secured public financing for a $14 million renovation of a 307-unit supportive housing complex and represented ownership in the development of a $67 million, 200-bed shelter. He played a key role in the application process for New York State’s Homeless Housing and Assistance Program, helping to fund a mixed-use project that includes affordable housing, a licensed medical clinic, and shelter beds for individuals experiencing homelessness with co-occurring behavioral health needs. He also contributed to the entitlement, financial structuring, and design coordination of a proposed 21-story redevelopment in Midtown Manhattan, where he developed a complete capital stack and financial model for a project totaling approximately $130 million. His responsibilities extended to contract negotiations, stakeholder coordination, and guiding projects through early predevelopment milestones.

Earlier in his career, Jonathon served as a Real Estate Analyst at Grapevine Development in Los Angeles, where he led underwriting efforts for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. He built detailed pro formas, financial models, and internal capital tracking systems. He also responded to RFPs, conducted market research, and collaborated with city officials throughout the entitlement process.

In October 2024, Jonathon returned to Grapevine Development in a senior capacity, bringing his expanded experience in affordable housing finance, luxury residential development, public-private partnerships, and large-scale construction management.
