The Boulevards at South Bay

Located near the intersection of the 405 and 110 freeways in Carson, California, the Boulevards at South Bay is a 168-acre development project, 157-acres of which are a former landfill. In November of 2018 Grapevine Development was chosen by the City of Carson to be the Master Developer for all but one of the parcels being developed.
 

The Grapevine project includes 2 major, national brand hotels as well at least two high-end, sit down restaurants suitable for families and entertaining. Two permanent tents provide outdoor space for banquets, barbeque, entertainment and music, for hotel guests and members of the general public. When complete The Boulevards promise of a potential mix of approximately 1.9 million square feet of commercial, retail and entertainment uses, a 250 and 150-room hotel, and major dining and entertainment venues, all a stone’s throw from LAX, Downtown Los Angeles, the brand-new sports stadium developments in Inglewood (Rams) and Carson (Chargers and the Galaxy)
 

The Boulevards at South Bay is a former landfill that is being made safe for new development that will generate well over $5 million annually in sales tax, hotel tax and property tax revenue that will go to the City of Carson’s general fund. There will be no cost to Carson residents to develop the project
and none of the city's general fund dollars will be used. The project is anticipated to add more than 4,500 construction jobs as well as 5,000 permanent jobs to the City of Carson.

 

This prime location, long sought after as a home for a new football stadium will provide a home for a long overdue signature mixed-use development that will serve as the gateway to this hard-working city and act as a catalyst for further first class
development.
